Cloud Builder — System Mode Introduction
Cloud Builder is an administrator-only app where system administrators build cloud infrastructure from the ground up. Starting from physical (bare-metal) server registration, it lets you inspect the status of compute, network, block storage, and orchestration services in one place.
Access Required
System Mode requires system administrator privileges. Regular domain administrators and domain users cannot access it.
Management Areas
The Cloud Builder left sidebar is organized into three groups.
| Group | Screen | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Inventory | Servers | List, register, allocate, and delete registered bare-metal servers |
| Computer Nodes | Host aggregates | Logical groups of hosts (scheduling units) |
| Availability zones | Availability zones (AZ) based on host aggregates | |
| System Information | Compute services | Endpoint status of compute-related services |
| Compute nodes | Node / hypervisor / resource provider utilization | |
| Network agents | Network agent status | |
| Block storage services | Block storage service and backend status | |
| Orchestration services | Orchestration engine status |
