Security

Signum Security is the app for controlling traffic that enters an external network with a firewall. Each external network has one firewall, and you open only the inbound traffic you want to allow with rules.

How it works

• You can create only one firewall per external network.
• Inbound traffic that does not match a rule is denied. With no rules at all, all traffic coming in from outside is denied.
• Outbound (egress) traffic is not controlled by this firewall.

Account security policies such as login, MFA, and sessions are managed in Signum IAM → Security Policies. For access control per instance, use Security Groups in Compute.
