Cloud Builder Quick Start (System Mode)
This guide walks through registering bare-metal servers and configuring and inspecting compute infrastructure.
Prerequisites
- You must have system administrator (System Admin) privileges
- You must be able to enter the Cloud Builder app from the desktop
1. Register servers
On the Servers screen, use Register server to add bare-metal servers to the inventory. Registered servers are managed by serial, BMC IP, product model, role, and power state.
2. Configure scheduling units
Use Host aggregates to group hosts into logical groups, and define availability zones (AZ) to create workload placement units.
3. Inspect service status
In the System Information group, check the operational status of each service.
